“1 Peter 1 and 2:  Holy Living in Trying Times”

            A native of Lancaster County, Dr.  Buckwalter is a graduate of Wheaton College, he received his Ph.D. from King's College of the University of Aberdeen, and he is Professor of New Testament at Evangelical Theological Seminary, where he has taught since 1993.

            He is the current editor of   ETS's Evangelical Journal, and he has written many articles. He is also the author of   The Character and Purpose of Luke's Chris-tology.

            Doug is married to Keri, his high-school sweetheart and wife of twenty-eight years, and has three children:  Ahna, Andy, and Emily.    He coaches various teams in the community, and he has also been parent volunteer for many years with the Warwick School District in Lancaster County.
